As the public face of Carté on your campus and social media, Ambassadors are asked to represent the brand honestly and respectfully. This Code also sets out your confidentiality obligations to Carté.
Only make claims about Carté products that are supported by the official product description (e.g. "brightening," "reduces the appearance of dark spots"). Do not promise specific medical outcomes, cure claims, or guaranteed results — this is both inaccurate and a regulatory risk under Nigerian advertising standards.
When posting about Carté on social media, disclose that you're a paid Ambassador (e.g. "#carteambassador" or "ad"), in line with standard influencer-marketing disclosure practice.
No harassment, high-pressure tactics, or misleading claims to make a sale (e.g. fake urgency, impersonating Carté staff, or pressuring classmates). Ambassadors represent Carté in how they sell, not just what they sell.
Promote products at the prices shown on the official carteskin.com shop. Do not offer unauthorized discounts, side-deals, or accept payment outside the official checkout flow.
Only use your referral link for genuine referrals. Coordinating with others to inflate sales for commission or reward purposes, or placing orders you intend to cancel, is fraud and will result in forfeited commission and removal from the program. Buying products for your own use through your own link is allowed and earns commission like any other sale.
While you are an Ambassador, and for as long afterward as the information below stays genuinely confidential, you agree not to disclose or use for your own benefit any non-public information you learn through the program, including:
This does not cover information that is already public, that you already knew before joining, or that you are required to disclose by law. Don't share screenshots of other Ambassadors' data or internal program materials publicly. A breach of this section is treated the same as any other serious breach of this Code (see Section 8).
Public disagreements happen, but don't make false or misleading statements about Carté, its products, or the program. Raise a genuine complaint directly with Carté first at support@carteskin.com.
This list is illustrative, not exhaustive. Minor or first-time breaches may result in a warning. Serious breaches — including fraud, false medical claims, harassment, breach of confidentiality, or defamation of Carté — result in immediate removal from the program and forfeiture of all pending commission and rewards, as set out in Section 6 and Section 10 of the Ambassador Agreement, in addition to any other remedy available to Carté.
